Brain Recovery

Fast ForWord is not tutoring or teaching content from the curriculum. It rewires the brain’s pathways to make learning easier, enabling your brain to operate at its most efficient level. When used consistently it can deliver up to 1 to 2 years gains in reading and language in only 25 to 60 house of use. It is effective for anyone from the age of 6 to adults. It is an evidence-based adaptive reading, language, and cognitive programme maximising the potential for each learner whether they are struggling, gifted, or recovering from a stroke or concussion.

Fast ForWord consists of a series of online exercises that the person does for 3 to 5 days a week. These exercises build brain connections in as little as 6 to 8 weeks resulting in the person’s brains being re-wired to be better able to learn, read, and develop thinking skills.

Because each person has an individualised experience the exercises adapt to their performance providing them with precise and effective training targeted to their learning sweet spot.

The game-based design features like counters and reward animations keep those doing the exercises motivated, and they become more competent learners building learning capacity so they understand more of what they are taught. They grow in confidence and belief in their own abilities.

Clear Fluency is for anyone who can read at least 25 words per minute and are ready to rebuild their vocabulary, fluency and comprehension. It uses speech verification technology to “listen” to the individual’s reading, correcting and supporting them when they falter.

The Process

1. Free consultation to determine the applicability of the programmes to you
2. Assessment to baseline where you are at prior to starting the programme
3. Start with Fast ForWord targeting the source of the delay first
4. Progress onto Clear Fluency a guided reading programme which can be teamed with Fast ForWord or used as a stand-alone programme
5. Re-assess to measure the level of improvement
